This application offers a visually engaging representation of earthquakes that have occurred in Japan, making it a noteworthy tool for those interested in seismic activity.

Main Features:

• Latest Quakes: Displays the latest approximately 20 earthquakes in Japan.
• Big Quakes in 2-Year: Showcases earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.0 or higher over the past two years in Japan.
• Big Quakes (1900-Present): Provides information on significant earthquakes that have occurred since 1900 in Japan.

How To Use:

• Each pin on the map corresponds to an earthquake and is color-coded based on the earthquake's magnitude:
  • Over M7.0: Red pin
  • Over M6.0: Purple pin
  • Under M6.0: Green pin
• Tapping a pin reveals detailed information about the corresponding earthquake in an information box below. Selecting additional details will center the map on that specific pin.
• The scale of the map view can be adjusted using pinch gestures (pinch in to zoom out, pinch out to zoom in).

Application Considerations:

• This application does not provide real-time earthquake data.
• Information is sourced from the Japan Weather Association.
• Earthquakes are displayed approximately 20 minutes after their official announcement.
• Earthquakes without known details are not included in the display.
• Shallow earthquake depths are recorded as 0 km.
• If multiple earthquakes occur at the same location, tapping the same pin will reveal information about each individual epicenter.
• Details on major earthquakes reference scientific chronologies and Wikipedia for accuracy.
